El Salvador. LG Electronics, together with its business partner Grupo Euroaires, completed the installation of a comprehensive HVAC and smart management system in a modern private medical center in El Salvador.
It is one of the most ambitious projects in the region in terms of energy efficiency and automation for large-scale buildings.
The building, with an area of 35,000 m² distributed over 20 levels, is fully air-conditioned using LG's Multi V 5 VRF technology. From level 1 to 8, intended for parking lots, an automated air injection and extraction system controlled by CO₂ sensors was implemented. The upper floors house medical offices, terraces and common areas, all equipped with advanced HVAC solutions.
In total, 196 internal units of different types were installed – duct, 4-way and 1-way cassette – in addition to multiple Multi V 5 systems, reaching a total capacity of 1,100 HP tons. The entire system is managed from a centralized platform using Becon Manager software and the ACP 5 controller, allowing real-time monitoring, consumption analysis and detailed control by zones.
The project responds to the specific needs of the client, a leading real estate development firm, which was looking for energy efficiency, individual equipment monitoring and integration with the parking lot ventilation system. LG's solution made it possible not only to meet these requirements, but also to offer an intuitive 3D graphical interface for easy control and diagnosis.
This is the first BMS (Building Management System) integration project developed entirely by LG personnel in Central America, and represents a precedent for future developments in the region. LG and Grupo Euroaires stressed that this implementation reinforces their commitment to sustainability, comfort and the digitalisation of built spaces.
