Johnson Controls Enters the Data Center Solutions Industry

Johnson Controls incursiona en el sector de las soluciones para centros de datos

International. To meet the growing demand, Johnson Controls created an organization dedicated to providing integrated solutions to data center customers around the world, in support of the company's business segments.

Todd Grabowski will lead the Global Data Center Solutions organization and report directly to George Oliver, chairman and CEO of Johnson Controls.

"Over the past several years, we have been investing in and building momentum in the data center market to establish Johnson Controls' leadership position. It's clear that our offering is resonating with customers and we are now taking additional steps to take advantage of the growth opportunity we have," Oliver said.

"Todd and his team will prioritize delivering our full suite of smart building technologies, combining our unique suite of safe, sustainable and energy-efficient data center solutions with unmatched service," he added.

Johnson Controls products and solutions are already widely used in different data centers globally. The company has a portfolio of integrated solutions that help minimize costs, maximize efficiency, and optimize time for data center owners.

Company Strategies
To capitalize on the increased demand in the emerging data center market, Johnson Controls has developed innovation efforts and sought to capitalize on its strategic advantages.

These actions include creating leading technologies around a wide range of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers to support the continued growth in cooling demand; invest in world-class R+D and test labs to design, build, test, and demonstrate equipment performance and accelerate the pace of innovation; and develop field-leading expertise to deliver full-package solutions that drive results while providing service throughout the asset lifecycle.

"We have optimized our investments and solutions to ensure we are uniquely qualified to deliver the differentiated outcomes that data center customers need and expect from an industry leader like Johnson Controls. Our global footprint allows us to scale and deploy these solutions wherever they are needed and gain a long-term connection with those customers through our unparalleled service offerings," said Todd Grabowski.

The executive has more than 30 years of experience at Johnson Controls, most recently as vice president and general manager of HVACR, and holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University.
