Chile. LG Electronics Chile announced the signing of an agreement with the University of Santiago de Chile (USACH), with the aim of installing the first mini-academy of air conditioning systems, making use of its dependencies.The objective of this initiative is to create more and better technicians in advanced and intelligent air conditioning systems, the mini-academy created by LG will be for learning in assembly, installation, maintenance and operation of Multi V sync systems, LG.
LG donated to the department of mechanical engineering of the University of Santiago two of these air conditioning systems, which will be operational and available to students of execution engineering in air conditioning and for the department of mechanical engineering of the USACH. Claudia Silva, sales engineer of the air conditioning division of LG Electronics Chile and director of the academy, said that "the creation of this alliance between the technological world and the academic world, is a starting point to enhance professional technical education in specific areas, and that require special knowledge that today is very scarce in the market". The executive said that "this experience will serve so that dozens of professionals can operate advanced equipment and thus improve their professional capacity."
