United States. The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) announced that this year will be its 34th Annual Meeting and Exhibition, March 27-29 at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition, it opened registration for the event until February 14.

The association will bring together a diverse group of HVAC inspection, cleaning and restoration professionals around a schedule with certifications, educational sessions and networking.

The Annual Meeting is described in the official statement as the "perfect setting for air system cleaning specialists, mold remediators, HVAC inspectors or anyone interested in the integral field of HVAC system cleaning."

Jodi Araujo, CEM and executive director of NADCA, said:

"This year's program continues our focus on training and education, with outstanding content for technicians and business owners. It is important that HVAC professionals continue to learn and network with industry colleagues and learn best practices from industry experts. Attendees from established air duct cleaning companies and startups entering the industry will have access to amazing educational sessions. No one offers better professional development and networking opportunities than NADCA."

Topics of the educational sessions include:
• Healthy Buildings and Healthy People: The Importance of Indoor Air Quality
• How to Grow Residential HVAC Cleaning Businesses
• Improvement of the quality of work and the efficiency of production
• Emerging technologies
• Use of CVI certifications to generate more business
• Understand static pressure
• Hiring and retaining employees

Araujo said that attending this Annual Meeting and Expo is one of the most convenient ways for technicians to obtain the certifications of: Air System Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) or Certified Ventilation Inspector (CVI).

"We offer the training courses for certification and the opportunity to take the certification exams during the event. In addition, several of our educational sessions are eligible for the continuing education credits needed for recertification." People with this type of professional profile will also have the opportunity to participate in pre-conference training courses on Monday, March 27, and exams for both certifications will be offered on Tuesday, March 28.

Finally, the event will feature an exhibition hall, a space arranged for attendees to have an up-close view of the new and innovative technologies, equipment and services available to the HVAC cleaning industry.
