Book your agenda, Building Tech Americas returns to Bogotá

Building Tech Americas, the international seminar on design, construction and management of automated buildings returns to Bogotá, Colombia, after its passage through Mexico in 2007, which took place at the beginning of September of that year. According to the organizers, the 2008 edition will take place on November 19 and 20, at the Hotel Tequendama, in the Colombian capital.

Building Tech is an international seminar that gives engineers, architects, building developers and in general, professionals interested in the subject, the opportunity to train and gather information about the different systems that are used to automate a property, as well as the advantages and benefits of its application itself.

With the participation of national and international experts who will delve into the theme that the event raises for this year: Energy efficiency and operations in the buildings of the XXI century, the seminar will also include talks related to topics as innovative as home automation, or home automation.

Julian Arcila, academic coordinator of Building Tech, affirms that "construction in Colombia has been one of the segments that has energized the economy; Despite the contraction observed in this sector during the first quarter of 2008, for many experts construction will continue as a banner of Colombian economic performance. Additionally, Colombia is one of the countries that has stood out in the region in the application of measures for energy control and it is in this scenario that Building Tech Americas becomes the ideal space for business development."

The seminar will have two conference rooms, one focused on the development, design, construction and implementation of technologies for automation and the second, which will address building management, offering information that allows you to get the most out of this technology; therefore, from AC / R Latin America is invited to present academic proposals and to separate in their agendas these two days of the month of November.
