Danfoss introduced the TE2 solution for R744, the first thermostatic expansion valve on the market for systems that use CO2 as a refrigerant, which provides accurate and reliable overheating control, is easy to install and handles good temperature transfer due to its set of interchangeable holes and stainless steel bulbs.

The new TE2 CO₂ is suitable for small to medium-sized refrigeration systems, such as cold rooms and display cases used in convenience stores, restaurants and supermarkets.

Like the new Optyma iCO2, Optyma Control and EVT solenoid valve, the TE2 CO₂ is a solid offering for refrigeration solutions in small businesses compatible with R744 natural refrigerant. With this technology, Danfoss reinforces its commitment to helping companies with small refrigeration facilities transition energy efficiency and sustainability.
