Improper control of relative humidity can lead to mold formation, structural damage, and overloading in HVAC systems, reducing their lifespan and increasing energy consumption.

To address this problem, URSA has launched a free online course aimed at professionals in the HVAC-R sector, technicians and installers, in order to improve the identification and prevention of condensation in buildings. The training ranges from the causes and pathologies of humidity to mitigation strategies, including the importance of adequate mechanical ventilation and efficient design of HVAC systems.

According to the National Statistical Analysis of Pathologies of the MUSAAT Foundation, a high percentage of buildings in Spain have problems derived from the accumulation of humidity, in many cases due to inadequate regulation of temperature and ventilation. This underscores the need for HVAC specialists to consider moisture management as a key factor in their projects.

The course is structured in two modules that combine theory and practical cases, as well as including self-assessments and applied exercises. Marina Alonso, Marketing Manager of URSA, points out that "condensation is a constant concern in the sector, and adequate training is key to guaranteeing efficient HVAC systems and healthy buildings".

Registration is available at [www.ursaformacion.es](http://www.ursaformacion.es), and participants who complete the course within 60 days will receive a certificate of completion.
