Advansor presents its new low-heat technology

Advansor

International. Advansor presents its new low overheat option for its ValuePack plant, which is aimed at medium-sized supermarkets and simple industrial applications.

The new low-heat option has been tested in more than 30 supermarkets over the past 2 years, in both cold and hot climates. The company claims that the measurements show energy savings of more than 10% compared to the old cooling system.

Low overheating allows evaporators to operate at a very low superheat setting without the risk of liquid CO2 returning to the compressors. Typically, the evaporation temperature can be increased by about 4-5 K, providing energy savings of approximately 10%.

The new Low Heat option is based on Advansor's Ultra Low Overheat module, which was introduced to the market a year ago. This module led the brand to develop a complete production line. While the Ultra Low Overheat module is relevant for higher capacity segments, above 100 kW, the Low Overheat option is aimed at capacities below 100 kW.

Kenneth Bank Madsen, Chief Technology Officer at Advansor, said: "We have had great success with ultra-low overheating in large supermarkets. Smaller capacity segments, such as medium-sized supermarkets, should also be able to benefit from energy savings with competitive solutions. That's why we launched Low Overheat as a standard option on the ValuePack plant."

How it works
The Low Overheat module eliminates overheating by increasing the evaporation temperature and thus decreases the temperature difference, requiring less energy to cool and increasing energy savings. The solution is capable of removing all liquid CO2 from the suction line, ensuring safe compressor operation and optimal energy performance.

ValuePack Light
The brand also presented the ValuePack Light power panel, an ultra-compact CO2 climate solution for small supermarkets and shops.

With a height of only 1570 mm, the ValuePack Light fits into tight spaces such as basements and small machine rooms and offers capacities up to 45 kW (MT) and up to 15 kW (LT).

CTO Kenneth Madsen explains: "It's one of the most compact plants on the market with that capacity. At the same time, it is a highly energy-efficient solution with dischargeable cylinder technology as standard on the MT1 compressor and, optionally, heat recovery, which uses excess heat from cooling processes for space heating or domestic hot water and thus further increases energy savings."
