Chile. The Burman Office Building 24 achieved the first LEED Certification in its O&M (Operation and Maintenance) v4 modality in that country. This property, located in Santiago and in operation since 1999, belongs to the Patio Group and is managed by the company Realsa.
This achievement was advised by the company specialized in intelligent energy, Efizity. The characteristics that made it worthy of this certification were its low annual energy use intensity (130 kWh/m2) that gives it an 87th rating (out of a maximum of 100) in the Energy Star Portfolio Manager ranking, achieved thanks to the renovation of air conditioning and lighting systems and their maintenance periodicity.
In the same way, it has high rates of fresh air injection and air filters that are renewed periodically, which contributes to the air quality of the indoor enclosures.
Regarding water consumption, it has a sub-measurement system by type of consumption and also have devices and taps of low consumption that allowed to demonstrate a 32% saving compared to the baseline. It also favored its location that promotes access by public and alternative means of transport (steps from the Tobalaba metro).
