Air conditioning is a showcase for the industry

altSome 700 companies from 20 countries will participate in the next call for the Climatización 2011 fair, which will focus its offer on renewable energies and energy efficiency. The International Exhibition of Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation and Refrigeration, organized by Ifema, will have its appointment from March 1 to 4, in Madrid, Spain.

According to María Valcarce, director of the Climatización 2011 fair, Latin America is an area of vital importance for Climatización, since it is a fair at the service of a sector with a clear international vocation and, from this point of view, the show can play a fundamental role as a bridge of connection between the Latin American and European markets.

Precisely one of the main objectives of the fair this year is to offer a contact platform to all those companies with an interest in establishing or expanding their commercial relationships with professionals from other countries, and Latin America undoubtedly offers great potential to develop.

Likewise, the director of Climatización 2011, which this year reaches its 14th edition, urged the public of Latin America to visit the fair as it is an interesting option to know the international offer in air conditioning, ventilation, heating and refrigeration concentrated in a single platform.

"In Air Conditioning are the main national and multinational companies in a sector with important weight in our country (Spain), along with other companies on the world stage. This participation offers as a whole a totally representative content of the progress of the sector, of the trends of the international market and of the avant-garde novelties of a globalized industry, in a really comfortable and related environment, in language, cultural, social proximity, etc., as is Spain for the Latin American public, and competent to access the Iberian and European markets", Valcarce emphasizes.

In this edition, the fair expects to bring together around 47,000 professionals from 70 countries and bring together the offer of some 700 companies based in Spain and 20 other countries. In addition, in the chapter of technical conferences, the Foroclima program will address topics of maximum interest with various conferences and presentations focused on energy efficiency and the use of renewable sources for air conditioning.

In the same way, the event will also have a space dedicated to highlighting the novelties of the R + D + I sector in the so-called Innovation Gallery.

For this, the selection process, in which a committee of experts formed by professionals with proven experience in the sector has intervened on behalf of prescribers and users of the products, has taken into account key aspects such as the degree of innovation, sustainability, energy efficiency, the use of renewable energies, quality or design care in the proposals presented.

This year, in its fifth edition, the Gallery will present 12 products, which aims to achieve maximum energy efficiency in heat pump applications; the use of micro-cogeneration equipment, with joint production of heat and electricity; the application of the aerothermal heat pump, or the use of paraffin graphite in sill units, whose storage capacity to keep the temperature of a passenger compartment stable is four times higher than water.

The Innovation Gallery will also show interesting proposals for the reduction of the space needed for the facilities, thanks to more sophisticated and compact equipment; systems that favor maximum comfort and minimum energy consumption in buildings, equipment designed to reduce noise pollution, or innovative proposals based on the use of wireless technology, among others.

On the other hand, Valcarce also stands out as a fundamental element within the fair, the wide range of products that covers its offer, with the latest in products, equipment and services that ensure the most complete showcase of innovation in the market, as well as the flexibility of the solutions provided by the manufacturer present at the fair.

"The sectors that comprise Air Conditioning are highly technological and the new proposals reflect a permanent commitment to R + D + I, as well as shows the selection of products collected by our Innovation Gallery. For the professional who visits the fair we have also prepared an interesting program of conferences that includes the development of two plenary sessions entitled, respectively, 'Sufficient Air Conditioning and Renewable Energy Systems' and 'Energy Saving and Recovery Guide in Air Conditioning Facilities', as well as more than 40 conferences and product presentations".

The director of the fair also announced to ACR LATINOAMÉRiCA that as a novelty this year, they will hold a Workshop on Applied Air Conditioning Techniques (TAC Workshop) that, in a practical way, will show the group of installers different examples of critical installations for their optimal operation.

"The TAC Workshop will develop five themes: Condensing boilers: operation and drains; solar thermal energy: regulation and control of installations; treatment of refrigerants in air conditioners; installation of underfloor heating and refreshing, and control of energy consumption, "he clarifies.

Air conditioning will occupy this year the pavilions 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the enclosures of the Feria de Madrid. Halls 5, 7 and 9 will house the heating and DHW area, Hall 6, the cooling area and Halls 8 and 10, the air conditioning and ventilation as well as the regulation and control segment.

The fair is based on the unanimous support of the sector in Spain, represented in its Organizing Committee that integrates the main professional associations of manufacturers, installers, maintainers, technicians and storekeepers of the sector. Among them, on the part of the sectoral offer, AFEC (Association of Manufacturers of Air Conditioning Equipment) entity promoting the Fair and chairing the Committee; FEGECA (Spanish Manufacturers of Generators and Heat Emitters by Hot Water) which holds the vice presidency, and ANEFRYC (National Association of Cold and Air Conditioning Companies) representing the refrigeration supply segment.

Important associations linked to the agents of the sectoral demand also participate, such as AMASCAL (Association of Wholesalers of Sanitation, Heating, Plumbing, Gas, Air Conditioning and Related); AMICYF (Federation of Associations of Maintainers of Heat and Cold Installers); ASETUB (Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Plastic Tubes and Accessories); ASIMCCAF (Association of Installers and Maintainers of the Community of Madrid); ATECYR (Spanish Technical Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration); CNI (National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Installers and Maintainers), and CONAIF (National Confederation of Associations of Plumbing, Gas, Heating, Air Conditioning, Fire Protection, Electricity and Related Companies)
