Government and Abrava Renew HVAC/R Export Program Agreement

Brazil. With the aim of inserting Brazilian companies in the HVAC-R sector in international markets, the Abrava Exporta Program reaches the 7th. phase and aims to increase by about 25% the export volume of the participating companies. The project foresees the introduction of Brazilian companies in markets in countries such as Africa, Latin America, the United States, Mexico and the Middle East, among others.

The partnership project between ABRAVA - Brazilian Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Heating and Apex-Brazil - Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments, since 2004, is renewed and enters its 7th phase that extends until 2020. In 2017, the companies participating in the Program exported about US$415 million, with a 22.5% growth in the value exported compared to 2016. The target for 2018 is a 25% increase in this turnover.

According to the technical manager of the ABRAVA Exporta Program, Leila Vasconcellos, "Brazilian companies in the HVAC-R sector have the great opportunity to introduce their products to the international market, provided they have export as a strategy and are willing to participate in the actions of the Program, that generates visibility and allows you to find new business partners for future business.

The objective of the Program is to stimulate the export of companies in the HVAC-R sector, through commercial promotion actions that support their insertion in the international market, in addition to the provision of commercial and competitive intelligence information

The new phase of the agreement was signed on July 20, 2018, which allows the viability of commercial promotion actions with participations in fairs abroad, buyer projects, image project, international marketing, commercial missions to other countries, prospective visits to other market countries and intelligence actions that provide information for competitive approaches in international markets, promoting the insertion of Brazilian products in the HVAC-R sector (refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heating).

The results obtained by the Program in these 14 years of project contributed to the dissemination of the brand of companies in other countries promoting their internationalization in other markets, carrying out commercial promotion actions, in addition to the availability of commercial and competitive intelligence studies.
